Hallo meine Lieben,
ich werde euch jetzt schon einmal sagen, dass die Posts jetzt doch vielleicht unregelmäßiger kommen könnten, da ich einen Platz beim Bundesfreiwilligendienst des DRK bekommen habe und voll eingeplant bin.
Allerdings soll das heute nicht unser Thema sein, da ich endlich mal über eine Convention schreiben will, die ich besucht habe, Ende letzten Monats.
Es ist erstaunlicherweise der zweite Conventionbericht dieses Jahr und wenn ich mich nicht irre, ist es sogar der zweite Cosplaypost überhaupt in diesem Jahr. Ich war zwar auf der LBM, aber ich habe darüber nicht berichtet. Die Gründe, warum, sind ja bekannt.
Ich war auf der "Asia Arena". Die "Asia Arena" fand zum ersten Mal unter diesem Namen statt, vorher hieß es wohl "Reisbrennen" und so gesehen ist es auch keine richtige Convention, sondern eher eine Veranstaltung auf der japanische/asiatische Kultur und Motorsport aufeinander treffen.
Das klingt erst einmal wie eine schwierige Kombination, aber es hat ganz gut funktioniert. :)
Ein genauere Einschätzung folgt weiter unten, aber zuerst möchte ich euch erst einmal davon berichten wie mein Tag dort aussah.

At first I'll tell you that I can't post so regularly now because I got a place in the national volunteer program of the DRK (German Red Cross) and I'll be working nearly everyday.
However, this shouldn't be out topic because I finally want to write about a Convention, I visited, late last month.
It is surprisingly the second convention report this year and if I'm not mistaken, it's even the second Cosplay related post ever this year. I was on the LBF, but I didn't write a report. The reasons, why, are well known.
I visited the "Asia Arena". It was the first time that the "Asia Arena" took place under this name, previously it was called "Reisbrenner" and actually it isn't a proper Convention, rather an event about the Japanese/Asian culture and motorsport.
That sounds like a difficult combination, but it worked quite well. :)
You can read a more accurate assessment below, but first I want to tell you how my day was.

Da meine Eltern sowieso Fans vom Motorsport sind, wollten sie dieses Mal sogar mitkommen. Natürlich nur wegen dem Motorsport an sich, aber es war auch eine gute Gelegenheit das erste Mal Cosplay live zu sehen. Bisher kannten sie es nur flüchtig oder aus dem TV und wie wir alle wissen, ist das liebe Fernsehen nicht immer nett zu uns.
Mein Bruder ist dann auch mitgekommen und ist dann mit mir rumgegangen, da ich mir nicht unbedingt alle Autos anschauen wollte, sondern viel mehr eher die "Cosplay Area".
Wir haben also ziemlich früh mit dem "Asia Achievement" begonnen. Das war eine Art Schnitzeljagd, die von der "EpicCon" gesponsort wurde.
Diese beinhaltete kleine Aufgaben.
Die erste Aufgabe bestand darin, vier Selfies mit den sogenannten "Wanted"-Postern zu schießen. Auf diesen Postern waren dann die Cosplayer, die zur "EpicCon" kommen.
Die zweite Aufgabe bestand darin, zum Nintendostand zu gehen und dort eine Runde zu spielen. Dabei war es ganz egal, welches Spiel man gespielt hat, hauptsache man hat gespielt. Mein Bruder und ich haben uns dann entschlossen eine Runde "Pokémon Tekken" zu spielen, allerdings habe ich gegen ihn verloren.
(Mein Bruder meinte gerade:"Tja, weil ich so gut bin.".)
Danach haben wir unseren Stempel bekommen und sind zurück zum Info-Tower gegangen.
Die dritte Aufgabe bestand darin, drei verschiedene Stände aufzusuchen und sich dort einen Stempel geben zu lassen.

Man sollte einmal an den Stand der Cosplayerin gehen, dann konnte man sich einen Stempel bei einer Künstlerin abholen und zu guter letzt musste man den Stand eines Fotografen aufzusuchen.
Als das dann auch erledigt war, haben wir jeweils eine Patrone für eine Nerf-Gun bekommen, denn die vorletzte Aufgabe war es, einen Stand zu finden, der diese Waffen hatte und dort sollte man dann noch auf Büchsen schießen.
Dort mussten wir allerdings eine Pause einlegen, denn nach einer Weile haben wir herausgefunden, dass dieser Stand erst später, nach dem Cosplaywettbewerb, den wir leider nicht besucht haben, wieder öffnen würde und in der Zwischenzeit waren wir dann das erste Mal "shoppen". Zwischendurch waren wir auch bei der Rennstrecke, allerdings war das nicht wirklich was für uns und wir sind dann, nachdem die Zeit endlich verstrichen war, zu besagtem Stand gegangen und haben kläglich versucht, die Büchsen zu treffen. Der letzte Schuss war bei beiden dann aber der, der getroffen hat.
Danach sollte man zum Stand der "EpicCon" und durfte dann dort an einem Glücksrad drehen und hat zum Schluss dann seinen Gewinn bekommen.
Das "Asia Achievement" bildete unseren roten Faden an dem Tag, denn obwohl wir zwischendurch bei unseren Eltern oder kurz bei Freunden waren, hatten wir immer unseren Laufzettel in der Hand und wollten diese Schnitzeljagd zu Ende bringen, denn nachdem wir diese beendet hatten, sind wir nur noch ein letztes Mal an den Ständen der Händler vorbeigegangen, ehe wir uns dann mit unseren Eltern getroffen haben und dann kurz danach wieder nach Hause gefahren sind.
Das war dann auch schon das Ende der "Asia Arena" und ich muss sagen, dass es wirklich mal was anderes war. :)

Since my parents are fans of motorsport, they even wanted to come with me this time. Of course, just because the race track itself, but it was also a good opportunity for them to see Cosplay for the first time. So far, they knew it only fleetingly or from the TV and as we all know, our beloved television shows aren't always kind to us.
My brother then come along and then we walked across the place because I didn't want to look at all the cars, I wanted to go to the "Cosplay Area".
So we started quite early with the "Asia Achievement". That was a kind of scavenger hunt, which was sponsored by the "EpicCon".
These included small tasks.
The first task was to shoot four selfies with the so-called "Wanted"-posters. On the posters there were the cosplayers who will come to the "EpicCon".
The second task was to go to the Nintendo stand and there you had to play something. It didn't matter what game you played, the main thing was that you've played. My brother and I have decided to play "Pokkén Tournament", but I lose.
(My brother said: "Well, because I'm so good.".)
Then we got our stamp and returned back to the Info-Tower.
The third task was to visit three different stands and get a stamp.
You should go to the stand of the cosplayer, then you could get a stamp from an artist and last but not least you had to seek the stand of a photographer.
When that was done, we got a cartridge for a Nerf gun, because the penultimate task was to find a stand that had these weapons and there you should shoot rifles.

There, however, we had to take a break, because after a while we found out that this stand opens again, after the Cosplay competition and in the meantime we "shopped" for the first time.
In between, we were also at the race track, but that wasn't really something for us and we went back to the shooting stand after a while. We failed. The last shot was the best for both of us.
Then we went back to the "EpicCon" stand and then we were allowed to spin a wheel of fortune and we also won something.
The "Asia Achievement" made our thread on the day, because even though we were with our parents or just with friends in between, we always had our dockets in our hands and we wanted to bring this treasure hunt to an end, because after we had finished it, we only went to the stands one last time before we met up with our parents and then shortly afterwards we drove back home.
That was already the end of the "Asia Arena" and I must say that it was really something different. :)

                                                     Fazit/Conclusion

Das werden es sicherlich einige von euch kennen, ja, das habe ich bereits auf Facebook gepostet, aber ich finde es für diesen Abschnitt schön und kurz. :)

Ich fand die Mischung am Anfang etwas gewagt, da das für mich zwei Hobbies waren, die nicht so gut zusammen passen.
An sich fand ich es aber gelungen. Natürlich überwiegt der Teil für die Autos, was ich sehr schade fand, man hätte die Waage halten können. Hälfte Kultur und Hälfte Auto, ist aber nur meine Meinung.
Man wurde trotzdem sehr schräg angeguckt, wenn man im Cosplay da war.
Ich weiß nicht, ob es die eine "Harley Quinn" ("Suicide Squad") so gut fand, dass sie unter anderem als "sexy Harley" betitelt wurde. Klar, man sollte bei so einem Cosplay aufpassen, aber trotzdem. Selbst ich, "Lily Evans" ("Harry Potter"), wurde teilweise dümmlich belächelt und habe blöde Kommentare abbekommen, aber jede Szene hat so seine schwarzen Schafe.
Samstag war es trotz allem sehr angenehm, das Angebot an Verpflegung war ebenfalls super und die Preise fand ich human. Der Nintendostand und das "Asia Achievement" haben sich auch super gelohnt. Vom Cosplaywettbewerb habe ich nicht viel mitbekommen.
Abends war wohl allerdings nicht mehr viel los und Sonntag soll sich wohl nicht gelohnt haben wie ich gehört habe. Da wäre etwas mehr Planung besser.
Alles in allem war es aber ein schöner Tag und ich bin nächstes Jahr wieder mit dabei!Some of you will certainly know this, yes, I've already posted it on Facebook, but I think it's nice and short for this section. :)

At the beginning I thought the mixture was somehow risky, there were two hobbies that don't fit together.
All in all, I think it was successful. Of course, the part for the cars predominates, which was a pitty, they could hold the balance. half culture and half car, in my opinion.
It was still very obliquely and there were always strange looks when you went there in Cosplay.
I don't know if the "Harley Quinn" ("Suicide Squad") was happy with her nickname "Sexy Harley".
Sure, you should be careful with such a Cosplay, but still..Even I, "Lily Evans" ("Harry Potter"), got silly comments or just a silly smile, but each scene has its black sheeps.
It was after all very pleasant on Saturday, the food was also great and the prices were also okay. The Nintendo stand and the "Asia Achievement" were worth it. I didn't notice much from the Cosplay competition.
In the evening there wasn't much going on and Sunday wasn't worth a visit as I've heard it from several people. A little more planning would be better.
All in all it was a beautiful day and I'll come back next year!

                                            Meine Schätze/My treasures

Ich habe mir, wie immer auf einer Convention, eine Lucky Bag gekauft. Ich kannte die Aussteller vorher nicht, habe allerdings auf etwas Gutes gehofft, jedoch war ich anfangs sehr enttäuscht vom Inhalt der Lucky Bag.
Es waren alles Sachen von "League of Legends", allerdings spiele ich das Spiel nicht. Anfangs wollte ich auch alles verkaufen, mittlerweile haben die Sachen aber ihren Nutzen gefunden und im Nachhinein bin ich doch froh über den Inhalt. Die Mütze hat mein Bruder bekommen, die Kissenbezüge haben ebenfalls ihre wahre Bestimmung gefunden und ein Mauspad wird von meinem Bruder genutzt.
Mein Hund hat auch seinen Spaß mit einem Plüschtier. Immer wenn der bei uns in der zweiten Etage ist, schnappt er sich gern das ein oder andere Plüschtier und spielt damit und im Moment spielt er gern mit der Bombe. :D
Dann habe ich mir eine "Koneko" mitgenommen, da diese dort gratis verteilt wurden. Ich lese die "Koneko" ziemlich gern und habe mittlerweile auch das Geld sie mir regelmäßig zu kaufen. Natürlich war die "Koneko", die man dort kostenlos bekommen hat, die von Juli/August diesen Jahres. :)
Dann habe ich mir noch ein Los von der Künsterlin "Unessbar" gekauft und dort einen Smileysticker bekommen, allerdings hat dieser noch keinen Platz gefunden.
Ich habe es endlich geschafft mir ein Kochbuch von "Angelina Paustian" zu kaufen und ich bin ziemlich glücklich darüber. Es ist echt wunderschön. Wahrscheinlich werde ich mir in der nächsten Zeit auch noch das andere Buch zulegen. Zu diesem Buch habe ich noch eine Post- und eine Visitenkarte bekommen und diese Postkarte hängt mittlerweile an meiner Fotowand.
Zudem könnt ihr auf dem Bild ein Blumen-Headpiece sehen. Dieses habe ich, zusammen mit einem Fotoshooting, bei der lieben Steffi von "Akasora Cosplay" gewonnen.
Dann seht ihr die Sachen, die ich beim "Asia Achievement" gewonnen habe, zwei Samstagstickets für die "EpicCon" (das Drei-Tages-Ticket gehört meinem Bruder) und ein T-Shirt von der "EpicCon" (wenn auch mind. eine Nummer zu groß, damit es schön locker sitzt), dazu noch ein Flyer.
Das Bändchen und das Heftchen bekamen alle beim Eintritt. :)

As always I bought a Lucky Bag at a convention. I didn't know the exhibitors, but I was hoping for something good, but I was very disappointed with the contents of the Lucky Bag.
They were all things from "League of Legends", but I don't play the game. At first, I also wanted to sell everything, now the things found their place and in retrospect I'm glad about them. My brother got the hat, the pillowcases also found their true callimg and one mouse pad is used by my brother.
My dog ​​has his fun with a toy. Whenever he's with us on the second floor, he likes to take a toy and play with it and at the moment he likes to play with the bomb. :D
Then I took a "Koneko" (German magazine), as these were free. I like to read the "Koneko" and now I have also the money to buy it regularly. Of course, the "Koneko", that you got for free, were the ones from July/August this year. :)
I still bought a lot from the artist "Unessbar" and there I got a smiley face sticker, but this hasn't found a place yet.
I finally bought a cookbook from "Angelina Paustian" and I'm pretty happy about it. It's really beautiful. Probably I'm going to buy the other book in the near future. I also got a post card and a business card and this postcard is on my photo wall now.
In addition, you can see a flower headpiece in the picture. I won this, with a photo shoot, by the beloved Steffi from "Akasora Cosplay".
Then you see the things that I've won in the "Asia Achievement", two Saturday tickets for the "EpicCon" (The three-day ticket belongs to my brother.) and a T-shirt from the "EpicCon" (At least..A size too big..It's comfortable.), plus a flyer.
Everybody got one bracelet and a book while entering. :)
